And many times religion is associated with Dogma. If presented with evidence that doesn’t align with that particular world view it will immediately be rejected. Spirituality implies more broad mindedness that allows seeming contradictions to be reconciled. Because if we are connected with the source of all we are able to understand information in relationship to that whole.
eg. One who is religious, according to thier religion other religions might be considered bad or wrong, whereas a spiritualist (even if they themselves are religious) can understand that these seemingly contradictory religions are actually all aspiring for the one absolute truth. My 2 cents
