Begin with the mantra! Go straight to the essence with the Hare Krishna maha mantra – proclaimed as the most efficient and wholesome mantra for meditation by the ancient yoga and meditation texts, the Vedas.
Chant Now is all about developing, learning and exploring the practices of bhakti yoga and mantra meditation in a supporting community.
As human beings, we are all on our own journeys of growth, transformation and self-realisation but we need not be alone.
The Chant Now community offers support through live events, coaching and courses designed to share the profound effects of meditating with the Hare Krishna maha-mantra.
The dedicated support team of the Chant Now community gives you not just content and information but a place to start building connections that can lead to real transformation.
Yes! In fact, it is the best and easiest technique for meditation because it uses the transformative power of sound, allowing the restless wandering mind to concentrate on it easily and not get easily distracted by mental chatter, which is the number one source of distraction for beginners. Chanting on beads is especially beneficial, as it engages the sense of touch and speech and auditory functions in the meditation process.
Srila Prabhupada is the founder acharya (spiritual head) of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. Srila Prabhupada not only brought bhakti yoga and the Hare Krishna maha-mantra to the western world but also circled the globe 14 times on lecture tours, bringing the teachings of Lord Krishna to thousands of people on six continents.
This project is run by practicing Bhakti yogis voluntarily as part of our ‘Seva’ or service to humanity. All our content and services are completely free. This is made possible by the generous contributions of our students and supporters.
Sign up for our community and then access our “coaching” page. There you can fill out the form and we will connect you with a coach based on your location and availability. Our coaches are spread across time zones and offer their time voluntarily. You can generally expect a reply from us within 24 hours.
We are associated with many bhakti yoga centers throughout the world. Get in touch with us and our team will help you locate your nearest center.
“Seva” is a Sanskrit word meaning “service.” Service is an integral part of bhakti yoga and an essential element in diving deep in the chanting of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra. Service helps open our hearts to receive transcendental knowledge and connect with the ancient masters of the yoga tradition, who have given us this knowledge.
Seva Donations are a way for you to easily begin this service by offering a one-time, monthly or yearly contribution towards the maintenance and expansion of the Chant Now community.
We look forward to serving you in your spiritual development through bhakti yoga.
We are a dedicated team of bhakti yogis here to share our collective decades of wisdom and experience with you. We aim to teach, inspire and motivate spiritual seekers of all backgrounds on the wisdom and practice of Hare Krishna mantra meditation.
Our service is based on the ancient bhakti yoga wisdom texts such as the Bhagavad-gita, as presented by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and form the spiritual foundation of the meditation training offered in our classes.
